The son of an Iranian mother and an African-American father,
Anise Vance is a Mitchell Scholar and current Master's student at Queen's University Belfast.
While in the United States, Anise's research revolved around issues of racial identity
formation and segregation in urban areas. His current work focuses on the perpetuation of 
ethno-national barriers and conflict in Belfast.
